that reminds me of a ditty I heard centuries ago. "back to back they faced each other, drew their swords and shot each other" Backs to the Wall @Thomas Stearn?
I answered one from our newbie Janel while you were away .. she has just acknowledged it. We are now on Thomas' question. Broken hearts.. I had them as ping pong bats at first glance. Chances are it is an historical movie.
I thought you wouldn't need it. But OK, I'll add one word and you'll all know it immediately. Shirley is on the right track. It's not a historical movie. The word is VS
I do believe you but why couldn't it be? Exactly right, of course, and the cuckoo nest actually inspired me. I recalled several movies of the time and tried to find a suitable pic. That's always my main problem.
Because there was such a thin thread connecting the two. How many movies are there where two people have broken hearts. My main problem is coming up with a name that can be translated to pictures. I guess I try to be too literal.
That's my main problem, too, matching movie titles and pics. I didn't actually have broken hearts in mind but a divorce. That's why I liked that dividing line. Yes, you may be right that you tend to be too literal. I was so glad to have found that pic and you came very close to the cuckoo nest with your two pics. Regrettably, I don't have an image databank.
