In a major breakthrough in the global fight against coronavirus, scientists in Australia have developed a lab-grown version of the disease. Described as a "game changer" that will help scientists determine whether a future vaccine is effective, experts at Melbourne's Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity on Tuesday became the world's first scientific lab outside of China to copy the virus. They will now share it with the World Health Organisation (WHO) in Europe, which will in turn share it with labs involved in the worldwide race to develop a vaccine.
I'm pretty sure it was developed in a lab to begin with, but it's nice that someone other than China has it.

There is more miss information on this than fact. When the WHO and CDC get involved you know it is going to be a big show. This is some conspiracies about it that probably become fact. This virus has been patented so that means it is manmade. The place in China where it started has a biological weapons lab. There was a man arrested sneaking out biological material from a Canadian bio lab to China. The virus patent was issued 2015 and approved 2018. The lab with the patent is funded by Mr. Gates who claims he is close to having a vaccine. How much will be proven true and how much will they tell us. Only time will tell. I live in a country who has and still has Malaria, Chikungunya virus, Dengue virus, and Zika virus with all these scary viruses and the population is stable.

Even though this might look like the thread is about the corona virus, it actually is not, @Thomas Stearn . Since this is the conspiracy section of the forum, we discuss all sorts of conspiracy topics here, and this thread is about the involvement of Bill Gates, and his foundation. For many years now, Gates has been promoting population reduction, and one of his favorite ways to accomplish that seems to be through a virus pandemic that kills people, plus giving vaccines that can make you more susceptible to getting one of the viruses that are produced. There was a lot of confusing information going around about this particular virus. At first it was said to come from people eating bats; but the WHO determined that animals do not carry the virus. In spite of that, they promoted the idea that a tiger at a zoo had the virus. There was apparently a shortage of the tests to determine if a person had the CV-19 virus, but they had enough of them (at a Zoo for heaven’s sake !) to test sick zoo animals. How does that come to be ? Then, there is the information that the patent for the vaccine , as well as the virus itself, comes from a company funded by both Bill Gates and George Soros, and now they want to vaccinate every one and chip us at the same time, or keep people basically in quarantine. That Gates was very involved with Epstein does not help anything either. So, there is a lot of good information to discuss about whether the Gates Foundation is pushing their whole pandemic, and why they are doing that. If you enjoy delving into conspiracies, this section of the forum has a goodly supply.
No, the coronavirus is simply the excuse. The subject is the undue influence that Bill Gates would have over our lives, even to the point of injecting us with a mandated tracker.
