    I found 87 people with the same name as mine. Although I use my birth name, many folks use their baptismal name and when I check that out, there were a few hundred. I simply cannot imagine someone with the name Pansy Swastika. Good one.

    @ Mary Robi That was interesting. Thanks for the warning! I've never ran into one of those sites, but I would've easily given them my real name if I had.
    There is a lady who used to write for Readers Digest who had my same name. People used to ask me if I was her. I should've said yes and felt all important for a few minutes. :D

    Will wonders ever cease, learned that i'm still capable of learning, just a little slow at it. Needle threaders, wonderful invention, at 61, gave up my stubbornness, started using the hand one and ones on my sewing machines, frustration free. :D:rolleyes::rolleyes::D. The next lesson, found out when you click on new status, brings you to the page so a person can comment. :D. I've learned my snow shovelling elves must have gone south, because they are nowhere in site, have a backlog to move. :confused:. If any of you happen to run into them, send them back here, they'll be easy to spot, they'll probably on the beach somewhere, wearing their elf hats and sunscreen and have guilty looks on their faces. :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:.

    I learned if you hand wash a sweater, it takes 2 days to dry if it is overcast outside.

    Isn't that just annoying as crap? I hate having to clean out the whole thing so I don't get botulism. It seems to me, someone should've invented some special covers by now with little vent holes. Something a bit smaller than a salad mixing bowl that could just plop over whatever you are cooking.

    I heard this is synagogue yesterday.
    Through the years there has been a debate on whether Ali Baba said 'Open Sesame' or 'Open Says Me'.
    They now think it is derived from the Jewish word for password which is pronounced 'seesma'.
    This would also correspond to the interchanging of words in the mid east during the time the story takes place.
    I doubt anyone would ever need this knowledge. :p

    @Gloria Mitchell

    Coverings for foods in microwave, we mean? Rarely does any "popping" activity exceed mere splatter of one degree or another, except egg yolks exploding, such that a paper towel, easily disposed-of as necessary, contains the splat most effectively and handily.
