It was Napoleon. The animals rebelled against the farmer. He was making them work and the only reward they got was food and shelter. They set up society where everybody would work and share alike. AKA known as Communism, although Orwell didn't call it that. After the animals took over the farm , Napoleon the pig eventually became the dictator. They were worse off than before. It's a fascinating study of communism. Every person on Earth should read it.
