I have an Apple Mac, but I googled for windows for you... To play a CD or DVD Insert the disc you want to play into the drive. Typically, the disc will start playing automatically. If it doesn't play, or if you want to play a disc that is already inserted, open Windows Media Player, and then, in the Player Library, select the disc name in the navigation pane
no it?? lol look around the edges of your screen , im sure it popped up somewhere ! then click on it..
Beth, it's a disc of picture files of all the telescopes I've owned. I manually shoved it into the computer, and I heard few clicks, but nothing after that, and nothing showed up in the margins surrounding my screen. I don't think any of you own the new HP W10 "ALL-IN-ONE" desktop machines, because mine doesn't resemble anything of what you say I should be seeing on my screen. See the disc drive on the side? Hal
Hal, it appears that the little photo icon on the bottom of the screen (little black "mountain") might be highlighted. Click on it and see if you get a file list.
Beth, I've always clicked on the "mountain" icon, and it brings up my library of 300-400 photos...not a "file list", but actual pictures.
Hal, are you familiar with File Explorer? You should be able to open File Explorer and see all your file directories. That disk drive will show up in the list.
Beth, I opened "File Explorer", and there's an item in the list that says: DVD RW Drive (D) When I click on it, nothing happens. Hal
Is the disk in the drive and the drawer firmly shut? Is there an indicator light on the drawer to show that it's in use?
