    I agree, Frank. I bought one of those covers and never used it, plus it took up a lot of storage space so I donated it to Goodwill.

    This did not make any real sense to me when I first read @Martin Alonzo ’s post about the racoon virus, but after learning more about the whole corona virus thing, it now makes more sense.
    Apparently there is a game called “Umbrella Corporation”, and it has an umbrella logo that is almost identical to the logo for the pharmaceutical corporation in the Chinese city where the corona virus originated from.
    In the game, the city is called Racoon City, which is an anagram for coronavirus, or at least racoon/corona are an anagram.

    Glad to hear it. I can blame my frugal self for not knowing they existed. I avoid looking at anything I didn't go specifically in a store to buy.
    There is no telling how much cool stuff is out there that I have no knowledge of. :p

    I learned that it's finally time to get rid of the phone that goes thru the internet. Spectrum down for 5+ hours yesterday. No phone, no TV, no internet.

    We thought about that at one time, but the "bundled" services are cheaper. So if we delete any one of the three services it will cost more. What the hell? Anyway, we just keep the land line though it is annoying that it goes out when the cable service is out.

    I have a land line (flat) and a pre-paid phone and TV both over-the-air and via internet. So, if one system broke down, I'd use another one. Yet so far no breakdowns of any sort.

    Understood. We have cell phones so the occasional land-line outage isn't a deal for us.

    I have a cell phone that I keep on me but she can't use because of Macular Degeneration and holding a cell phone while trying to dial(I know we don't dial cells) is impossible

    @Beth Gallagher

    Interesting. Living here going on 10th year, land line has NEVER gone out, though DSL internet has, perhaps a dozen times. Usually back within an hour. Satellite TV, never. Electric power, maybe 10 times; killed cordless phone, TV, DSL.
