I wouldn't have made that suggestion because I don't access the internet thru my i-Pbone. I use my tablet or Mac.
I did not suggest an iphone, Lon since I use Samsung Galaxy. I do very little on that phone. Nothing personal since all phones are too easy to hack into.
Apple products are probably some of the most secure devices that a person can buy, @Lois Winters . They seldom ever get hacked into, and you might have even seen some of the news stories about law enforcement (and even the FBI) needing help from Apple Corp. in order to get the information from some criminal’s Apple cellphone. As far as using our phone for accessing the internet, I seldom do that because it is small, and I prefer using my iPad. However, Lon Tanner does not have an iPad, or I would have recommended his using that instead of the iPhone. Since all he needed to do was to use it for a very few minutes to register his account, it would only be a temporary size inconvenience for him.
I do not own an iphone but I'm glad you are able to access the site. @Yvonne Smith good thinking, thumbs up.
1. Think what human agencies you depend on, so that without their service you cannot use your computer for a lot of tasks, like for example, sending a post to this forum: http://www.seniorsonly.club. 2. Change them all, and see whether you can still use your computer for all tasks which do not depend on these human agencies, like writing records for your digital diary inside your computer. 3. Now get connected with your new human agencies on whom you will depend for getting online, and see whether you can now register into any online entities requiring registration to access their content.
