Surely that is almost instantaneous global destruction. My question was over four years.

 

If all the bees died?

 

It wouldn't have to be instantaneous depending on the kind of impact. Also the bees could be replaced.
In short, I don't know.

 

@Thomas Stearn , if all the bees died, they can't be replaced. Without bees, there would be almost no way to pollinate plants. Without plants for food, all humanity would starve. Probably within four years.
