    Who Am I:

American actress born in 1908, in Lowell, Massachusetts. After a brief theater career, I became one of the biggest stars in the Hollywood studio system, appearing in nearly 100 films before my death in 1989.

And she wasn't even pretty. I wonder if she would make it in Hollywood nowadays?

She had the most amazing eyes. She was middling pretty. Her talent makes her a star in any era. Meryl Streep is her modern day equivalent in my humble view.

Good movie. Both Rush and Colin Firth are fine actors. Shame that Rush is being victimised here in Aussieland. The "tall poppy" syndrome .. I put it down to.

I suppose you'd call it an American classic.. an anti war film.

Sorry, Craig. I don't watch movies with violence. Especially war movies. Somebody recommended that I watch "Saving Private Ryan." I started watching it and had to stop.
