We’ve had some rain that’s been very welcome to settle the dust / smoke from controlled burning The whole area is so dry the ground will soak up every bit of rain that falls. Thanks for your concern @Patsy Faye We get allot of news from south Australia as Im only 1.5 hours drive from the SA border . I believe they have had allot of rain where the biggest fire was on Kangaroo island in SA
This devastation is so heartbreaking. There's nothing i can say that hasn't already been said. All of you suffering show such great strength. So much lose, of your lives, homes, wildlife, and relief help. Wish it would just stop. Will your country ever be able to rebuild your loses. .
This is a shot from space depicting the devastation Australia's firestorms caused on our Eastern Seaboard.. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-02...heat-and-drought-created-a-tinderbox/11976134
Hard to look at Craig - so very sad I'm devastated for our people up North too, three major floods in 3 months, this last one was very widespread and still ongoing
Yes it is. The enormity of the devastation. This is only my state.. there were additional major blazes in our other five states.. as well as the Australian Capital Territory. I had it spot on when I wrote that my Nation Was Burning.
@Craig Swanson THANK YOU, Craig, for this download, brought tears, i feel for everyone and everything in your country. I just don't know how to put into words for all your devastation.
You have a kind heart Miki. Seem to recall having already told you that. Thankfully my ravaged country is now returning to some normality. The best news is our water catchments servicing or major cities are are now two thirds full so now no further need for desal reserves..plus water restrictions are to be lifted.
We need prayers for people over here too - still ongoing So pleased to hear Australia is now seeing improvement This is an example of the floods here ….
How is everyone trying to go on after the devastation of heat, fire, floods. What will happen to all the baron land. Will people be rebuilding their homes and lives in the same areas where they suffered their loses. How were the billions of animal remains that weren't burned in fires being taken care of. How will the animal population make a reappearance. The injured animals, what is their future, is there rehabs for them to continue life if unable to return to the wild.
Well there's a coincidence Micki - was just about to ask how everyone is doing so 'SNAP' @Micki Pembroke
