Well, even many of those Democratic leaders are now saying Trump is doing a good job. Pelosi excepted of course and her pals.
If you are talking about governors, they have to say that. Just listen to the temper tantrums at some of the daily 1-2 hour press briefings and you will see why.

Here is a small part of one of President Trump’s daily briefing, and it is awesome to see what he is doing . He has taken the fake news clips put out by the mockingbird media, and then showed news clips about what actually happened. He starts with all of the accusations that he didn’t react fast enough, and then shows that he was reacting when the Democrats and doctors (Fauci) were saying that there was no problem. Even funnier ! After President Trump made the media watch this little video during the news briefing, CNN was so upset that they took the briefing off of the air, and then changed to about 4 different screen blurbs in just a few minutes. They were actually having a meltdown, but trying to say what Trump was doing was wrong.
Some of the mainstream news is now actually reporting that Dr. Anthony Fauci gave over seven million dollars of United States money to the Wuhan lab in Communist China so that they could do corona virus testing on bats. Trump's biggest failure, as far as I can see, is that he is leaving far too much in the hands of agenda-driven experts, like Dr. Fauci, whose every announcement contradicts those he made before.
Fauci is a dweeb who thrives on media attention and making alarmist pronouncements, even though they sometimes contradict each other. As soon as he shows up on the tube, I change the channel. With Fauci and that scarf/shawl fetishist doctor, I can't stand listening to either one!
I think that he is just doing the same thing that he usually does, and it seems to work every time, without fail. Rather than stop someone, he just gives them rope to hang themself, and then lets them proceed to do just that. Trump puts out the bait, and the liberals just jump headfirst into the trap, over and over. Even rats are smarter than that ! Since it is now starting to come out that Fauci was , at least in part , responsible for funding the Communist Chinese laboratory that developed the corona virus that has disrupted almost everyone’s lives; people will not be keeping him on a pedestal, thinking that he is saving them. The same thing has been happening to Bill Gates. He has had so many negative responses on his social media that he has had to either close it down, or at least stop taking comments. Because the Gates Foundation financed the corporation that was making the virus, and owns the patent for it, and is now expecting to make even more money developing and selling an expensive vaccine for the virus; people are also starting to realize that his agenda is money and earth-depopulation, and not saving people’s lives. More people are waking up all of the time, and starting to question what they are seeing and hearing on the television news programs; but it is not going to happen overnight.
The patent thing comes up from time to time and I don't know that we're on the right track with that. It could be that someone would patent something like that so that they have the right to tweak it or to do things like working on a vaccine. Now, I wouldn't trust that anything Gates does is in my best interests but I don't know that it means that he created the virus. After all, he didn't create MS-DOS but he patented it.
