We all have things in our lives that brings bit of " I really like this" type product, food, tool- whatever that you use, that makes your life a bit happier, comfortable, or you favor or something else. One of mine us Viva paper towels. Expensive, use less sheets and absorbs so much better. Second is I insist on two ply tissue paper, same a above for me Third is Van Camp pork and beans, eaten right out of can..yummy What are a few things you enjoy having around?
Foods that I like best are subject to change from time to time, but here are two that I like. I am pretty fond of this bit of health food too, although I don't buy that often either. I rarely buy either of them but I like them. Our local store quit carrying the Chillycows while I was on a diet because I was apparently its biggest customer. They don't carry the roast beef hash either. They carry corned beef hash, but I like the roast beef hash better. However, the one thing that I like best is my MacBook Pro. A year ago, I would have said my iMac but it has since become obsolete, in that I cannot upgrade it to new versions, although it is still the computer I use most.
Hershey's chocolate, Peter Pan peanut butter, Lipton tea, Kraft cheese, Oscar Meyer all beef hot dogs. Nothing fancy, just reliably good over the years. The first two I can't have around regularly though. Just special occasions. Can't lay off of them. Also Scott paper napkins. I used them like Kleenex and they didn't disintegrate if you left them in the laundry by accident. But Scott quit making them, as far as I know.
Idaho frozen French fries, tater tots all of them are favoites. Kentucky Legend Ham is another great tasting food item.
One of my favorite gadgets is my spiralizer. I mostly use it in the summer to spiralize zucchini but I wouldn't trade it. I stir fry the spiralized zucchini in a little butter and top it with Pesto. It's soooo good.
A brand of pimento cheese called "Palmetto Cheese". I throw a spoonful of it into my morning grits, into mac 'n cheese or onto a cracker. It's spicy and delicious. It's made on Pawley's Island and at one time you couldn't find it outside of the Carolinas, but now even Walmart carries it. Thank goodness!
Never thought I would day this but.. Walmart grocery app is a favorite . Ordering and picking up grocery at this time especially is fast, easy and and safer for me.
We have been using the Sam’s Club app a lot more, too. We usually only go to Sam’s about once a month for things that we buy in larger quantities, but since there is free shipping on most (shippable) items from Sam’s, I have started ordering online. When we go to the grocery store, I shop for fresh items, veggies, greens, fruits, etc; so I want to go to the store and pick those out myself. I also like to watch for close outs and markdowns, and you have to search for most of those. Since we are not worried about the virus, and they aren’t forcing us to wear masks at most places here in Alabama, we really enjoy our shopping trips. I have been trying to think of some kind of a product that I could consider a favorite item, and really having a hard time coming up with anything special. I guess the closest thing would be my morning coffee, and I like to have a flavored variety (change around for different flavors), and I really look forward to making and drinking my coffee each day. I got one of the Mellita filters for a 1-cup size, and then got the little carafe with the larger size filter cone. Depending on whether I plan on having just one cup, or want a refill, I use one of those cones for making my morning coffee each day, and I like how it makes my coffee.
