I understand that too Chrissy, sorry .. can you talk/see them via Skype or something? I've got 2 that are far away, but they are the older one. The youngest live near me.
I also bought new Mixer taps for the kitchen this week..they're not installed yet, gotta wait for us to buy a new sink first so I can't show you a photograph...but they are these ones.. http://www.bristan.com/epages/Brist...an/Products/"N DSM C"/SubProducts/"N DSM C^2" They look so much better in real life than in the picture, and they are very high quality given the price...
I collect music boxes... and I'm finding quite a few kitty music boxes... so this is my latest. I'll try to take a pic of all my kitty ones and post it soon... in the meantime, this is manufacture pic, but it's what I ordered, received, and love. (Tell me if it's not visible!)
We can see it @Mari North hard to judge the real size of it tho''..is it really big like in the picture or not so much? Very unusual music box, I don't think I've ever seen one like it
It's 4x3x6... and plays Fur Elise... I didn't know it was going to show up that large from the picture url.
That is so cool! I have been to the store in NYC. Once is was so packed, I could hardly move, but the other times it was just wonderful!
I don't need much, so I don't buy for myself very often. I have been missing my protrait work, because my eyesight has gotten so blurry the last couple of years, and I'm told that surgery for my cataracts will have to wait for another four years at least. So I decide to learn how to weave. I can still see color very well. I'm going to start with 4'X4' baby blankets for the young vets that are in need of baby things at our local VA I am doing volunteer work at. It is a 48" ridged heddle loom.
Why do you have to wait 4 years for surgery for cataracts? I just had an eye exam and don't have any yet but if and when I do, do I have to have blurry vision til they say I can have the surgery? How long does it take to make a baby blanket on that?
