Well, Beth, either you or a family member has tattoos or you are simply very open minded. One thing we definitely aren't and that is open minded, however, there are some things that we tolerate
Yes, I am open-minded. I don't have a tattoo because I never wanted one; I live my own life and don't obsess about what other people do. You must be a real party to be around with your single-minded prattle. And FYI, I couldn't care less about what you "tolerate;" that's probably a very short list in your short-sighted existence.
Well, my wife isn't open minded either. My wife's 76 yr old sister is the same way we are. And, we all know how to have fun.
Chase Brooks has a full-sleeve tattoo along with many other ones on his torso. I'm guessing you might have watched him winning rodeos a time or two? You might be really surprised at what's under those Western shirts, Cody.
Well, first, since I'm a former Team Roper, not bronc rider, our interest is in the Timed Events of a rodeo. We have never seen Chase, probably because he became a PRCA member in 2013. He's only been to the WNFR twice and has never won a World Title. IOW, his riding skills, as well as his tattoos, have no interest to us! Anyway, he's not part of the rodeo contestants that I know or knew, however, he is part of the "New Age" of rodeo that many "Old Timers", don't like that much. I seriously doubt he is part of the "normal" of the rodeo industry, but, have to admit, rodeo could be headed that way. A lot of fans like the fact that long-sleeve shirts are a requirement to wear at a professional rodeo, so if there are tattoos, they aren't shown. Chase doesn't have them anywhere where they could be seen in the arena. I'm fairly sure he gets some silent comments and looks about his when someone sees them, especially old/older rodeo fans and retired contestants. Thank God, PRCA has rules about wearing a long-sleeve shirt in the arena during competition. Back in the early 2000's, there was another dude, Sid Steiner, that sported body piercings and tattoos and he was called "The Wild Child" of pro-rodeo. Rodeo announcers made it a habit of introducing him into the arena that way. He sort of liked the name/attention, but then again. Wife and I did meet him and he was definitely a "Wild Child". He won one World Championship, then quit rodeo. A lot of PRCA cowboys wondered "where in the "H" did this guy come from?" and were fairly glad when he quit rodeo. I started my part-time rodeo career around 1987 and they definitely weren't part of the sport back then.
I see a few older ladies here in the geezer ghetto that have them, but not the "wallpaper look" of some younger folks.
I really need this in a I Hate thread, but this will do. I hate going to the dentist and periodontist ! Always not good news, expensive, grueling for me. Dang this sounds more like a rant. Oh well, just say'en
I feel ya because I used to have those days too and then….ta-da…dentures. Still, just the thought of a dentist sends chills down my spine.
I don't like neighbors. LOL! I also think those weird earrings that make the gaping holes in a person's lobes are gross. I don't like fighting.
