I did not know that this was essential to good health and staying healthy and have been reading a number of medical articles about the benefits. I'm afraid that in my life time there were huge gaps of time between meals and made up with by snacking, which ain't good. However in my senior years I have followed this four hour meal schedule pretty well.
Lon I would be afraid of nutrition information coming from the medical industry in the 1950 they gave us the food pyramid and everyone was thin in those days now obesity is common they gave us information on Cholesterol and after that phobia Alzheimer and erectile dysfunction skyrocketed from rare to common. The medical system is a business and healthy people are bad for business.
The more of that stuff you read, the more you think you're doing wrong! Eat WHAT you want WHEN you feel like it! If you're contented, then that rips all those medical bulletins! Hal (Baby Back Ribs and a Beer, anyone?) At Steer & Stein
Is that from your restaurant that's finally opened back up? Man, I wish there were a Ruby Tuesday's near me. I believe the closest one is an hour away. There are downsides to rural life.
When you plan a meal, plan it for the Joy of Eating, not for any stupid Carbohydrates, Fat, Cholesterol, or Calorie considerations. I never do, and I'm perennially healthy and am starting my 85th year. (Was about 67 in picture) Harry the Horse
HEY JOHN, that was from my favorite restaurant before the Pandemic. They have an outdoor dining area now, but we order and take home. Hal
