Cool. We played "Stardust" and "New York, New York," as well. I played out of Chicago, for ten years, then Austin, for twenty. I wrote charts, did the bookings, sang lead, played bass guitar and auxiliary percussion. My Dad, a jazz drummer in Chicago, always told me to never go into drumming, because I'd always be hauling the most equipment. Unfortunately, he never advised me to not go into leading a band. I hauled the PA, lights, and my bass rig. I arrived before everyone, and was always the last to leave. I made leader double to quadruple, so I couldn't really complain. Playing music paved the way, for me, to the great life.
