I disagree about Sarah Palin; I think she's the reason he lost. The woman was a total air-head and no amount of "seeing Russia from her house" was helping. He named Palin and lost my vote.
I absolutely LOVE that he picked Harris! All I can say is.........Mr. President Trump is in deep, deep trouble now. But, then again, we will all have to wait and see what happens. As for having a woman for President or Vice President, white or black, I'm all 100% for it.

The Federalist has published an article that makes comparisons to Sarah Palin and what we might expect from the media as it relates to Kamala Harris and the two election cycles. I agree that the Sarah Palin that most people know was a media creation, brought about because the media was suddenly afraid that McCain could actually be elected with her on the ticket. Like Mitt Romney, John McCain wasn't going anywhere. He was selected as the nominee by those within the GOP who wanted to make sure a real Republican didn't have a place on the ballot. Sure, he wanted to be elected but the direction of the nation wouldn't have changed whether the present was Barack Obama, John McCain, or Mitt Romney. The media and, although I don't often use the term, the Deep State, clearly wanted Barack Obama elected. Did Sarah Palin say some pretty stupid things? Of course, she did. But compare her gaffs with those of Joe Biden, then compare the media coverage of them, and consider that Biden is at the top of the ticket. For that matter, Barack Obama said some pretty stupid things too, but the media covers for those who they want while exaggerating the errors of those who they don't want, and a large segment of the population does what it always does, and lets the media do their thinking for them.
