Born in Montreal, Quebec, 1941 Quebec City from 1944 to 1959 Montreal (and surrounding area) from 1959 to 1993 Schyler Falls, New York, USA. from 1993 to 1994 (18 months) Montreal from 1994 to 1997 Massey Ontario from 1997 to date..... Actually the place I like the most is just where I live now in Massey, a quiet village.. I will NEVER go back to living in a large city..
A small town in N.E. PA surrounded by other small towns and not near any major cities. No special attributes, just peaceful and quiet mostly. I traveled a lot in the service, but there is no place like home.
Correction: I said above I lived 280 miles north of Ft Worth. That is inaccurate. I live about one hundred and eighty (180) miles north of Ft Worth. Steve, how far do you live from the fictionable 'Three Pines' Village? On second thought I believe Three Piines is north of Lake Ontario.

My daughter was working up there for a week last year, and she sent pictures. I think that she flew into Rochester and then drove to where she was working, somewhere near Oswego, if I remember right. Looked it up, she was actually working at Fort Drum. Beautiful country and old homes, @Peter Renfro ! We were all ready to pack up, move, and go and help her restore a home up there. We have a lot of family roots from New York area, and Robin has them from both my side and her dad’s family; so I think something up there was calling to her to come home.
A lot of abandoned homes and businesses inupstate NY. We never suffered from the great recession because we never had anything around here to lose. Rochester area is a bright spot in the economy. Fort Drum is way up there. Heck yo might as well be in Canada. Yep NY is not what most imagine it to be.The city is a tiny little corner.
