    Day of the Week

Ever wonder what day you were born on? Well, you can find out with this neat little script. Simply type your date of birth in the box below, and it will tell you ... honest!

Zeller's Algorithm can be used to determine the day of the week for any date in the past, present or future, for any dates between 1582 and 4902.

To use this algorithm, input your date of birth, press "ok" and then boom the day of the week in which you were born on appears
    .

    Zeller's Algorithm

Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go.
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for a living,
But the child born on the Sabbath Day,
Is fair and wise and good in every way.

Nope. :) Never had to wonder because I always knew what day I was born because of the story that went with it. I'm the "fair and wise and good in every way" person... although I'm sure you'd be able to find some who would dispute that.... at least the last two!

Anyhow, I was my Mama's first baby and I was born on Mother's Day Sunday... I'd like to think I was the perfect Mother's Day gift, but... I'm not sure I ever heard her say that! Hmmm.... I'll need to ask her soon! :D

I've always known I was born on a Sunday. :D

My daughter was born on a Tuesday

BTW I always grew up with the rhyme for Sunday saying...

..but the child who was born on the Sabbath day, is Bonnie and Blithe and good and gay!!

I just checked my 2 oldest grandsons bdays. The blonde blue eyed one (only one that has my coloring) is full of woe also....born on a Wednesday.

Oldest is friday. The 3 little ones take too much effort to figure the exact year they were born. I know the dates and how old they are roughly, lol. But not the year.

My son was born on a Tuesday, my daughter on Saturday. Didn't have to look them up. Remember the days very well. The worst labor you could imagine with my daughter...it was a beautiful Saturday in spring and I was in the hospital wishing I was outside....wishing I was anywhere but there, lol. That is why I waited 5 yrs to have another child, took me that long to forget the 30+ hrs labor. It was all in my back too.

Good thinking, my son wasn't any easier just less time but even more painful because I was induced with him.
