As you very well know Frank, my referral to “Texans” was only written in a bit of jest. My Grandfather was born in Texas and......you might Not know but I am part Polish but do not worry, I have heard every Polish joke in the world.

By the way, Joan, the name is "Cody", not "Coty". Replace the "t" with a "d". No need to apologize, I've had to correct other folks about the misspelling.

One thing about Texas, it can sure produce some mighty good-to-great rodeo cowboys! Have met some.

Frank...:( Is this some inside joke I do not know about ? Why would you say something so nasty?? Do you know many Polish people? I am just a bit surprised at this extremism.
I have often wondered why Poles are singled out for jokes. Who was so bigoted to start it anyway...

If you put the @ followed by his name it always comes up with his correct spelling @Cody Fousnaugh

Beth..TY .Good to know...I have seen some of the damage in Lake Charles and it was heart breaking. One of my best friends is going to La. as an insurance claims adjuster..they are overwhelmed with claims..and may be there for months
We had a great home and I recently looked it up on Google maps..my Dad would be horrified how they did not take care of the yard..It was sad...Sometimes I think it better not to look back and just keep the memories of better days..

If my memory serves me correctly, I believe the comments were meant to be satirical in nature because Frank is Polish.
I probably wouldn’t have remembered either until he put a “like” on my reply to him.

My comment regarding too many Texans is based on my time at Ft. Polk when one particular drill sergeant would say, “the best thing leaving Louisiana is a bus load of Texans”.
Of course, when I lived in East Texas, the reply to that was often heard as, “the best thing leaving Texas is a bus load of coonasses”.

Yeah, Frank and I have a like / dislike relationship and I believe we are both a little like scotch in that we both take time to get used to.

@Joan Kuper - just to say that our Frank is a very likeable, interesting and individual character, which you will come to know.
Sometimes, he just doesn't make himself clear and needs a good jerk of his braces :p
