COVD_19 , Fires, Hurricanes seems to have screwed up so many things understandably of course, but it sure makes living day to day a real challenge. Will things ever get back to normal before I croak?

Dunno. When do you plan on “croaking”?

    Maybe for you...

Actually, the unrest shall continue until the Leftists get their way, in which case nothing will be what we understand to be "normal" again, anyway.

You may get kissed by a princess and turned back into a frog. Don't croak before then.

I could have said he might get kissed by a prince instead of a princess. That, too, would explain the warts. I'm just going to try not to think about it.

Now that I think about it, she didn't seem like royalty.

It's depressing, Lon. I keep thinking that things couldn't get any worse and then some new crap proves me wrong.

20 years can bring some pretty eventful times but that said, there is one truth that we can be assured of which is that “There is nothing new under the sun”. (Ecclesiastes 1:9)

In my life thus far, no matter what happens or who does whatever, it is always punctuated with the word “hope” at the end of it all. As long as I can keep doing that, everything is what it is and pretty much normal.

Going back to "normal" here, well, sort of yes.

For the first time, since this past February, we went inside of a restaurant to eat breakfast. Wife's sister stopped by to see us, on her way back to Ontario, California. Hadn't seen her, except for Zoom, since 2013, when we lived in Florida. Wore our masked in, but took them off for coffee and breakfast. Put them back on when we left the building. Other than some diarreha, we've both been fine. However, probably won't go inside another restaurant for awhile.

Our theaters here are open with limited seating and other restrictions, but they are open.

A number of "big-box" stores are now open, but have to wear a facemask inside, but seriously doubt if any employee will confront someone not wearing one.

An indoor rodeo is slated for here during the end of October. We may, or may not, go. Tickets aren't even on sale for it yet.

So..........there are some things here that are partially returning to normal.

Yeah, I can’t seem to find it either. Looked under my bed and even in the drier but nope, no 2020.
