I entered in in "Make Me Laugh", and it was sent somewhere else. I want that joke saved...it's funny! Harold
It was put into the thread for rude and vulgar jokes. http://www.seniorsonly.club/threads/mildly-rude-funnies.15243/page-8#post-456379
Thenk You, Yvonne...thenk you very much indeed! (TV host Arthur Godfrey used to say "Thenk you, thenk you...") Hal
@Yvonne Smith Just how vulgar is vulgar, anyway? Seems vulgarity has crept into everyday life in unprecedented amount. Frank
Yes, sadly, it has, @Frank Sanoica , and it seems like things that would never have been said in front of women, or even in public, in the times when we were growing up, are now commonplace talk. For the purpose of this forum, we pretty much use the standards that we seniors grew up with . This is why off-color or vulgar jokes are moved to the one thread where Ken allows them, and that way the rest of us do not have to be exposed to this rude language unless we want to go there, and understand what is in that thread. A person should be able to read a joke thread without being offended by rude remarks, belittling of women (or men), or vulgarity.
@Ken Anderson But "mild vulgarity" seems like "jumbo shrimp".......my black/white interpretation of everything excludes that which is subjective rather than objective.... Frank
Is that a reason to jump aboard and support it ............... although respect for one another seems a thing of the past, sadly
