Actually, I was reading another clip you posted about Pelosi and it was on that same "Western Journal" website... https://www.westernjournal.com/deva...f_campaign=dailypm&ff_content=western-journal So then I googled and found several youtube versions. It's from 2016. ETA--appears the Biden camp is attempting damage control, claiming "comment made in jest." So Biden can say crap "in jest" but Trump cannot. Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s campaign has confirmed the accuracy of a recently resurfaced video showing him jokingly calling military troops “stupid bastards” and “a dull bunch” during a trip overseas, but said that they were made in jest as a way to garner greater applause for a female service member’s commitment to the country. https://dnyuz.com/2020/09/25/team-biden-says-stupid-bastards-comment-was-made-in-jest/
It appears to be an authentic clip, and the whole speech is on YouTube, it looks like, of you want to listen to the whole thing, @Dwight Ward . https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/...pid-bastards-during-speech-to-service-members
That website is annoying. They put out sensational headlines three times a day and, of course, you have to chase them down to see if they're accurate. Much of the time they're not. No comments on my long quote?
That video seems genuine. Dwight is wrong again. Even before he grew senile, Biden was a strange man.He acts as if he exists in a separate universe looking down on the the rest of us sub-humans. His arrogance is quiet and far outweighs any bluster Trump exhibits.
Generally speaking, long quotes make me drowsy and I scroll on by. There are definitely sensible points in that spiel.
First we had Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats in Congress dressing in what was supposed to be African garb and “taking a knee” to appease BLM and Antifa. We have the sprouts players (who are being boycotted by a lot of former fans because of it). Now, we have a former vice-president who kneels at the national anthem, as opposed to putting his hand over his heart and honoring it, like we have always done. I think that Obama didn’t always put his hand over his heart as a sign of respect for our country, but at least he didn’t take a knee and disgrace himself and our country that way, like Biden is doing. This photo is from his recent Florida rally.
I wonder who helped him get up. And nice posing in front of a painted mural to make it look like a crowd. LOL
This is a video of Joe Biden thanking one of his supporters for her donation. He says that they raised $383 million dollars last month, and they had 5.5 million donors. He also said the average donation was about $44. Can anyone reconcile these figures to make any sense at all ? It looks to me like the average donor would have to donate about $63 million dollars to make this amount come out right.
Actually, I am bad at math. It does come out to about $63+ per person, not $63 million. If you take away all of the zeros, then you have 383/5.5, which is a lot more reasonable than I came up with at first.
Potato Farmer: “How do you plan to decrease the regulatory burden for farmers and business as a whole?” Joe Biden: “We should provide for your ability to make a lot more money as farmers by dealing with you being able to put land in land banks, and you get paid to do that to provide for more open space and to provide for the ability for you to be able to be in a position that we are going to pay you for planting certain crops that in fact absorb carbon from the air.”
Despite my disparaging remarks about poetry in another thread, I did come across a short poem that appealed to me. Roses are red, Kamala’s not black. Joe’s in the basement and Hunter’s on crack.
