Just yesterday I was going out to do chores. Couldn't find my cell phone. Look all over ranted raved made a general ass out of myself. Phone was in my shirt pocket. Damn, I hate apologizing to the wife!
yup been there done that-i use to sew alot went looking for my glasses and i couldnt find them--2 hours later i found them on top of my head--at that time i was only 35--
I don't lose my glasses because I have them on all the time except when I wash my face or take a shower. But..... this morning I absentmindedly looked in the fridge, got the cream out, poured some of it into a spoon for my coffee, dumped it into my coffee and the instant it left the spoon, I realized that I got the kefir out instead of the cream. Having done that, I decided to try adding the sweetener and tasting it. I hate wasting anything. ……………………… never, ever, ever try drinking coffee with kefir in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happened to me yesterday..a first. I was wearing them- however just had eyes examined as I don't see well with them anymore
I went searching for my glasses yesterday out in the backyard. I lost them when I hit a low flying branch while on my riding mower. Maybe someday I'll find them but I'll probably get new ones in November.
I've purposely avoided getting too close to the area where it happened. It's possible that because the branch flung them that they're far afield
Maybe up in the tree ? Can you get some kid to come and look ? I know that if you need glasses and don’t have them, then you can’t see to find them.
I have lost my entire set of keys, my billfold, my bicycle (which was locked), my checkbook, and my wife and I spend 10% of our time looking for our glasses. Don't laugh, but I once lost my car! I was on a trip back to SW Va. where I'm coming from a convention in Louisville about 11 years ago and stopped at a mall for a break (somewhere between Morgantown and Charleston, WV.) I looked all over for about an hour, finally finding the security office for the mall, told the man in charge that my car had been stolen, but he drove me around to every isle and we couldn't find it. I called my wife to come and get me (a 4.5 hour drive) We tried one more time and finally located it between 2 large SUV's. My wife is the same way. She lost her credit card while getting gas. Someone used it to buy large portions of steaks, then inviting all their friends to use it to get gas - it came to over $500. Someone used Paypal to hack our account, and tried to buy over $2000 worth of cameras, but we were able to catch it before they got the cameras. I've also called myself on the phone, only getting a busy signal. Also, I have to buy about 6 sunglasses a year, because I loose them a lot, so they are the cheapest ones I can find.
