The ability to send relief checks to businesses and citizens has been interrupted on at least 3 occasions by the democratic party led by Pelosi. In a way, Pelosi is blackmailing the President in that she thinks that if he doesn’t sign off on one of her radical inappropriate bills, it could cost him numerous votes for the election. She believes that it is a “win-win” for her and places the President in check. If he signs, she gets what she wants and if he doesn’t sign, she still gets what she wants.
You left out the part about the only ones getting the check,will be those who pay taxes using an ITN.
Is an ITN used by those without a SS#? That was mentioned either in that article or another I'd recently read. I'll hunt for it. Also in the legislation is language that would allow a second round of stimulus checks, $1,200 per adults and $500 per dependant, to be extended to those without a social security number -- including those in the country illegally who file taxes via an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).
There once was a genuine left in this country who believed in things like caring for the poor, ending foreign wars, taking care of the environment and stopping the rise of a police state. I was one of them. They've been drowned out by a radical clique who'd have all the ills of the world placed on European tradition and, specifically, white people and would turn this country into a multi-cultural cesspool easily managed by a core elite of the very wealthy. I can't abide this. Almost to my horror, I may vote for Donald Trump as president. (later) I see myself as one of the 'proles' from 1984. Another name for them? Deplorables.
