I personally don't have any problem with it. If one of my caucasian family members wishes to marry any non-caucasian that's their decision. I have always thought that some of the most beautiful and hansome children were those produced by interracial marriages. It's sort of the best DNA & genes coming to the surface.
I think this topic became a non-event about 50 years ago. Personally I couldn't care less what other people do and I hope they will show me the same courtesy.
This forum wasn't around 50 years ago and many of the members were teen agers. Let me me ask you Beth. Would you approve of one of your kids or family member marrying a Eskimo? Other people is one thing, family is another.
Absolutely I would approve. If they are happy together who am I to judge them? My youngest daughter was engaged to a wonderful black man but unfortunately they broke off their engagement. She ended up marrying a Mexican fellow who became an American citizen last year. I have a precious "half-breed" grandbaby. Does that answer your question?
My opinion has always been that if people can surmount the whole Male/Female thing, then skin color is a non-issue.
I approve of man and woman inter racial marriages but not same sex inter racial marriages especially when children are a part of the family.
kids deciding their gender should be opposite what they were born with...at young ages...6 and 7 year olds...
Ditto. Okay Lon, it would seem that everyone here thus far would approve of you hanging with the pretty black gal down the hall.
We don't totally approve of it, but then again, we are aren't that open-minded to a lot of things today. When we lived in Jacksonville, FL, we seen numerous interracial couples.......mainly black men with white women. We don't see that here, due to the demographics difference.
