The pub garden...devoid of people.....except us sensible people were sitting inside being warmed by the old traditional open fire..
Inside the pub...with the sensible people who are keeping warm.. Very quiet day...in the summer this pub gets packed out all day... Still, I got a coffee and a piece of hot fudge cake to keep me warm..

Can I be a spoilsport and post a Summer photo This is right on the edge of the city Adelaide took it 5 minutes ago from motel balcony ,it's on the corner of South Tce and Anzac highway and Goodwood road ( you can't see south Tce) the city is a mile square ,bounded by south, west, north and east tce's ) Now do all you poor freezing members feel warmer Was this near Adelaide?
I know that this is supposed to be pictures that we took ourselves; but since I don't have much of anything from here that looks like a winter photo, I wanted to show you this beautiful picture of the Pend d'Oreille River in North Idaho, which is where I grew up (and where my heart lives).
LOL...Nope they were all taken last Thursday Ruby (the pub garden and the village churchyard)...even when we get snow we more often than not have beautiful blue skies here in the south...but this year almost the whole of December and January have been rains and high winds, so it's been a bit miserable..
No I had the leg of Lamb on Sunday (yesterday)...and that was in a restaurant in a town the other side of the county... The pub in the photos is my local village pub...and it's where I went for coffee and cake (after my last hospital appointment ) last Thursday... the photos were taken late afternoon...
