Joe Biden won very few counties in the election, and the places where he did win were the large cities that had thousands more votes than they had registered voters. People who worked at the polls are starting to come forward and report what happened in those cities now, but the news is suppressing as much of it as they can.
% Another reason to abolish the Electoral College thing. Our forebears set it up to avoid having an incompetent somehow winning the election. It totally backfired 4 years ago. Let's get rid of it. The winner should be the candidate that gets at least 5o% plus one votes.
Our founders set up the Electoral College to form the Union. The representatives of the smaller states knew their rights and needs would never be served if total control was given to the larger states. They only way they would agree to join the union was to be given an equal right to fair representation. That same fact remains true today. It the Electoral College is eliminated, presidential elections would only need to be held in 5 or 6 states. If the rest of the states aren't represented, we may just as well secede from the Union. I would certainly encourage my state to do so.
