Trouble Viewing Images

Chrome is the 3rd browser I've used ( IE ---> Edge ---> Chrome ). ..

I really like Chrome, but having trouble viewing some images here with it. Same problem on some ProBoards forums. There seems to be no solution with Chrome. Same problem with Edge, but not with IE.

If you get a chance, please post and tell me:
1. what you see below, and
2. which browser you are using

A vintage car (Studebaker?) using Firefox as I have been for more than 15 years without any problem.

 

I see an old 2-tone green car. I'm using Firefox 83.0, 64 bit on Win10.

Nancy, did you copy/paste that picture from another website? Looks like the url is "http://www.mikelloyd.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/300-1962-Riley-Kestrel-BAM-746.jpg" which indicates a UK website. (So that car is a 1962 Riley Kestrel?? )

When I post that URL in Edge, it displays but says "not secure." I'll open SoC on Edge and see what happens.

Well, Edge is proving me wrong. Now I can see it with Edge. Earlier in the evening I swear I couldn't. Go figure.

 

OK, I'm posting from Edge Version 87.0.664.52. I can still see the image.

 

So when are you gonna change your browser, Nancy?

 

Apparently I don't have Chrome downloaded on this laptop, just Opera, Firefox and Edge. I can see the image in all of them.

Nancy, have you tried clearing your cache on Chrome?

 

I learned something; I had never heard of a "Riley Kestrel" automobile.

 

That's because it is an image of the icon that tells you you can't see the image. LOL

 

I hope someone with Chrome posts what they see. Maybe there is a newer version. Anyone?

 

Can you left click on that little icon and get the menu that says "view image?"

 

Yes, and open in a new window. I can view any image in a different window. Just can't view those on insecure sites here. The problem is, there are so many images in old posts that have just been removed, and I have to click on all of them, just to rule it out that the image is gone. It's a lot of work.
