I'm moving my time up by a month - so it will probably be mid-Feb. My prayers are for a fast return to normalcy. I will get back to my church and S.S. class the first Sun after my shot. I can't wait, to be honest. My grand-kids will be among I hope to see shortly after that.
Probably never. As for normalcy, we will return to normalcy when and if our masters decide that we can, or when enough of us get sick of the ridiculousness. The virus is the excuse, not the reason.
It may be offered to me by summer, at least so they say, provided everything goes smoothly. Not sure if I'll take it, though. Got my last flu shot in 1984 but a pneumococci shot three weeks ago.

It's not ever going to be 'normal'. No opinions needed at all..... read the news worldwide - masks and lockdowns have not worked. Read the results of unbiased reports. Just now on face the nation, they "have the vaccines ready" to put to a lot of old people in nursing homes and facilities, BUT they are waiting (until 12/21 or later) UNTIL they get ALL of them to sign away their rights first. That way, there's less to no chance that many will change their minds when they see what happens to others - they will all already have signed away their consent, their right to sue, and they can be given the shot without concern of liability of having to pay lawsuits and for the extra health care needed from the damage done, and deaths, from the vaccines (known for over a century now). People have not been told the truth .... the young woman quoted above did not realize that there is almost zero risk to her IF SHE GETS exposed and catches anything. There is wilful, liable , risk IF she gets the vaccine.
Well, whatever. Will America ever be a "little" more happy again. Many, many sure hope so, but as long as there are those that are constantly complaining about the virus stuff and the election............ To a point, if things can't be changed to what some want, as the old saying goes.........."let it be!". There are certain things that go in America today that wife and I don't believe in and/or like, but we also know that we can't do a thing about. One thing for sure, we can't go back to the old Lassie and Rin Tin Tin days, like many Baby Boomers and older would like.
This brings up many specific or general points that might be continued later, God Willing, in this or other threads. They may be important to a few, to some, or to many people. The deception and other activities of drug makers and governments is far greater this year than in past years, in the usa. A lot of it was prepared for, for decades, in the bad information given to the public, and taught in public schools, private schools, law schools and medical schools. So it is no surprise millions of people were so easily tricked into wearing masks and getting shots... but it is still a bad thing that they were tricked - the deception is worse than just the wearing a mask is (which wearing a mask might be good to do in isolated locations - but never a national mandate nor lockdown). What is best, what is healthiest, what is good, was suppressed overwhelmingly not just by media, but by the drug makers and schools teaching the doctors to be. (I've been surprised partly at how many doctors don't know how to bring about a cure of deficiencies, diagnosed as other legal and serious diseases) ... (or that they won't discuss it except in private, or they would lose their job ) ...
Too bad that curiosity did not cause you to test the politics years ago before trusting them. I learned decades ago not to trust any politic party - no matter who says something, it must be tested before being accepted, it must be proven true .... The things people have accepted , the lies they accepted, to be taken into the wars, they later defend, either they or their sons (and daughters) "fought" for something.... and it is harder then to find out it was deception, and for money, and for drug trafficking, and other things worse... No politician gets in or stays in office if he tells the truth too often, if he exposes the corruption.... most of the money and power relies on the system being continuing, deceiving, corruption.
In an update to the above post, the UQ vaccine program director Professor Trent Munro said phase one of the trial will now continue despite the announcement to pull the plug on a large-scale trial that would have measured the efficacy of the vaccine.
