That depends on what you might have heard about it, but I can tell you that when I drive through a hospital parking lot here in Maine, a large percentage of the license plates are Canadian.
Ken , In the last few months I've had 5 visits to the lab for blood work one chest X-ray and a CT scan under what we call MSP at no cost to me of course it gets collected in general federal taxes its not criticism I just don't understand the system My daughter lives in the US she recently had an ankle injury had an MRI in two days with her coverage having said all of this she lives in Nevada her wages and cost of living is way cheaper than Canada . Haven't seen her in while because of Covid
@Herb Durant, the first time I got cancer, I had no insurance, wasn't yet old enough for Medicare, and certainly didn't have the money to pay for tens of thousands of dollars of cancer treatment. Although it may sound harsh, or can easily be portrayed as such by those who wish to do so, we do have safety nets in this country, although they are not all tax-supported. I received the same treatment that I would have been entitled to if I had been insured, there were no unreasonable waiting times, and I didn't owe a cent when I had completed the treatments. I will argue that the existence of a large degree of socialized medicine in this country is what raises the prices so high. I was part owner of an ambulance company in Texas, and had previously been the director of a volunteer EMS service, and it was the presence of Medicare, Medicaid, and mandatory auto insurance policies that kept our prices high. Since we weren't going to be paid a cent from some people, given that our service area was on the Texas-Mexico border, and we weren't going to be reimbursed for our actual costs for some procedures, we had to inflate our rates on those items that Medicare, Medicaid, and insurances would approve. Thus, we charged $25 for a single low-dose aspirin tablet despite the fact that we had paid just over a dollar for a bottle of a hundred of them, and we raised our base rate whenever Medicare raised the amount they'd approve. Some of the things that are bandied about in political circles are simply a matter of which pocket they are coming out of. Many people will point to the absence of a state income tax in Texas as an advantage, and in some circumstances, it can be, and I like Texas, but they have to pay for stuff too so if they don't collect through a state income tax, they do so through higher fees or in higher prices on products and services.
Thank you for your input my understanding was if your sick and have no insurance you have a problem . This is not a political statement but I'm reading former president Obama book A promise land for no other reason than I find the man interesting I'm sure in my reading I will come across Obama care .
This goes beyond covid but it is something that everyone needs to hear Powerful Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Speech On The Scourge Of Big Pharma https://www.bitchute.com/video/eMgYUXxkrC65/
This is an interesting observation, and makes a lot of sense. We have not had any more people die this year than at any other year, but most of the deaths were counted as a covid-19 death, rather than as flu, heart attack, or even an automobile accident in some cases. So, if we had not been told that all of these people died from covid, we would have blamed it on the regular flu, plus poor health conditions , the same as every other year.
Jon Rapport has been a investigating journalist for many years covering all the so called virus pandemics. Speaks out on this fraud that they call covid. It is all about control and how to keep it. Open Secret That The Pandemic Is A Fraud, Shared By Conspiracy Of Silence https://www.bitchute.com/video/J3eCFtY512pU/
USA has less people dying this year than last either the virus is stopping the people from dying or it is a fraud.
No one thus far is saying or writing that Covid-19 does not exist. What IS fraudulent are the numbers and the amount of hype and misery that the media and those making a buck off of it are producing.
I have asked many people do you know a person who has died from a cold answer is no but some go on to be pneumonia and die from that. This is the same for covid I asked a lot of people do they know of anyone who has died from covid without complications and the answer is NO. We have here in the D.R. people in motor cycle accidents with parts all over the ground who later was marked as a covid death.
