Rocky is my Grey the lady that owned him passed away at home the bird was left unattended for a week my girl friend at the time decide to bring him home knowing I was an animal lover and that I would care for him my reaction in meeting Rocky was that I'm to old for the bird he is going to out live me since she was 25 years younger than me it was decided that I would keep him with the understanding that she would take him if I couldn't care for him anymore well she's long gone .
I have real concerns about rocky I'm 71 with no family or anyone else that would be willing to give him a home these birds shouldn't
be in captivity the shelter in my area is at capacity with surrendered parrots

That has been suggested but then I would have two birds to find a home for these birds are high maintenance .

At first I was only playing a bit but then it made a little sense. To be sure, I know very little about parrots and I suppose there is no one looking for a stud for their female but hey, who knows?
My limited understanding is that they can produce their entire life.
