Holiday Fun

Well, its now 4:45 my time and still no-one here...
So far, no snow today.... Who knows what will happen...

 

I guess everyone is recuperating from the wild PARTY we had....

 

I’ve been very busy with my apricots ..we estimate we’ve picked 50 kg so far ..gave 10 kg of them to a friend, and a few to,the neighbours
preserved/ stewed or made jam or just ate fresh from the rest ...we estimate there is about 30 kg still the tree .
TBH I’ll be happy to see the last of them for this year ..my cupboard / freezer is full to the brim of preserved fruit .
I just had my apricot jam on a slice of toast for breakfast

 

I did not forget any of my boomer friends. Posted this early on your Christmas morning. Y'all must h'v missed it.

 

@Kate Ellery , did you know that apricot oil makes an excellent skin moisturizer? I don't know how you get oil from an apricot but I get it from Amazon.

Steve, I thought that I would be able to stay at our party longer but my son wanted to cook Christmas Eve supper for me so I couldn't stay too long. I had hoped that Annmarie would post on our party. I'm disappointed that she didn't. I don't know if we can work out a New Year's party because of the time differences.

 

Our next party is for the New Year.

 

I’m going to Adelaide NYE ..but I’ll be here NYD if we want to organise a party at a similar time frame
as the Christmas party . It will be NYD for me and @Craig Wilson but NYE for out other friends.

Let me know what time ect ...I can be here from about 8 Am my time even tho I won’t get home till about 2 am cause we will be driving home from Adelaide after the dance @Shirley Martin @Louise Miller @Steve North I’ll have to look again what your times will be if I get here between 8-9 am ON MY .... Time ...New Year’s Day

 

Shirley.... Annmarie was sitting beside me as we only have one computer with this forum on it..
Besides, if she would of posted from her laptop and me from my desktop, it would be super confusing as it would be under my name and not hers..

 

NEXT YEAR WE MUST USE ZOOM...
it will be entirely different as we can see each other and talk to each other...
I use it often with my daughter and granddaughter at the same time...

 

I’ve got Zoom Steve in fact I used it and a craft forum a couple of days before Christmas

When I say I got zoom I joined a organised meet up ......so I don’t know how it works to set up a group meeting

If everyone has zoom, I will set it up.. I will be the host..
BUT, everyone has to have it..

 

Then I will have to miss the party as I dont have Zoom.
