I play often when weather permits. Planning to move to a warm weather state soon so I can play all year.
I play golf as long as the waving beaver's tail stays up long enough for my ball to shoot through to the cup, or the windmill's blades go slow enough for my ball to make it through the little door and out the other side. We watch PGA tour events on TV. They used to bore me, but now I kind of like them, as I know who's who, these days. Janet likes watching them, too, so that adds to the fun.
I do watch some Golf on TV, and I played (badly) a lot when I was a little younger. The last time I tried to play (3 years ago) I would swing like a rusty gate. Time to give it up.
I watch many kinds of sports, currently winter sport, but not golf. Living a stone's throw away form our local golf course I see them play every day, also in mid-winter which is strange, but couldn't bring myself to start playing it. It doesn't seem to offer the type of physical challenge I need and it is hugely expensive.
