Delivering meals to shut in seniors due to Covid. The senior center is closed. I have been volunteering and delivering meals since March.
Pretty much like any other day, I suppose. It will be the last day of my work week, so I suppose I'll be writing category and site descriptions.
Well, I slept late, drank coffee, ran 2 loads of laundry, dust mopped the wood floors downstairs, then made dinner. The excitement around here is palpable.
Make a banana pudding from scratch. Cook a pork butt roast in crock pot. Have black eyed peas ready for NY. Pick up small grocery order early in the morning. If that money comes in I will be buying on line a few items I had be run been putting off. Probably hv a drink after dinner watch tv. Always go to bed before 12.but trying to do differnt things this year.
Thursday...I'll make sausage & sauerkraut meatballs to eat on New Years Day for good luck, and drink one shot of Old Crow at the stroke of midnight. Then stay up at least another hour so I won't feel dull and fuzzy in the morning.
I'm still shut up in my apartment so I will just spend time writing, reading, sipping brandy, watch a couple movies and probably hit the sack before 12 HAPPY NEW YEAR YA'LL.
I've been in solitary confinement since March I'm working from home. Tomorrow night should be interesting since all gatherings are restricted to members of the same household so that means no inviting the neighbors over all bars ,restaurant liquors stores are banned from selling liquor after 8 PM the cops are going to be busy enforcing these restrictions they locked one guy up on Christmas day for non compliance. It's a wonderful life Happy New Year stay safe.
