It will be there. If they did the same as last time , they start with the poorest people first. Since my SS pension is under $500 a month, I probably was close to the top of the list for distribution. The people who have the largest incomes are supposed to get the checks last, but I don’t know if that always works out.
There was supposed to be a proprietary bill which would pay out $2000 but McConnell threw in a couple of bills with it such as a bill which would help protect our election process. Thus far, since the House Dems do NOT want the election process to be investigated and changed to make it honest, I really do not see the bill passing the House. Dunno. Even if a ton of money were to be spent on trying to avoid any more election fraud, I see Congress either just sitting on the money or any initiative that might be introduced to be locked into committees for years to come. Might as well just pay out the 2K or forget about it and simply flip coins for the presidency from now on.
We have direct deposit in our accounts, so before they actually arrive they show as pending. we have separate accounts, Bobby spends his money and I spend mine, so they show up as separate, but Bobby’s check shows as pending for him, too.
Ours also tells me when I have a payment pending, so if I have bought something at Sam’s Club (as an example) and it is coming out in a couple of days, it will show me that , and also how much is left in my account once that payment comes out. It is a really handy thing to have. Not everything does that, because some payments come out right away, but the payments and deposits that are upcoming, it shows.
Pending this morning, for the two of us, $1200.00 I thought maybe they mailed these things out by the alphabet. That's only a guess. I don't know anything. But with that amount safely in my pocket, think I'll buy some more black tea. It was filed on this week in some public journal, that if you drink five cups of tea a day, you're likely to live longer, to ward off some forgetfulness, your mental capacity is likely to be, well I forget the exact wording, but you're likely to be more like me. It was my intent to stop buying whole leaf teas and use only the dust in teabags but after reading about this stuff, I want the whole shabang. Gonna get some more Assam and maybe some of that smoky black. I kind of like that tea.
I just checked our banking account, online, and there it was.......$1,200 from the IRS. That will either go for "summerization" of our boat and a new prop, or help pay for our Dodge City, Kansas trip in July. That is, if we can go in July.
$600 for EACH US citizen would be $600 times 330 Million, or $198,000,000,000 or $198 Billion dollars. Hal
