    So beautiful. Living in Northern Virginia for so many years, I used to spend time on Skyline Drive, which is more or less The Parkway north of I64.

    Did you see any mice on your trip? ;)

    Only Mia. :)

    I think the Virginia mountains are more colorful than the NC ones. There are more red and oranges in them. Next time, I think we will visit them.

    That's interesting. I have no idea if there are different species of trees in each locale, nor could I tell by looking. It's a gap in my knowledge I've not filled.
