I have not seen this topic discussed on this forum. Do you know anyone who practices Wicca? Please do not post bible quotes and give your right or wrong on this. Just merely asking if you know anyone that does this?
I had a young relative who claimed to be a Wiccan but I think it was more a plot to annoy her parents than a sincere belief. The Wiccan stage passed rather quickly.
@Mary Robi I had a relative this morning telling me they practiced this and never knew. It got me to thinking how many others belong. I dated a guy briefly in the 70's who claimed to be Wiccan.
Ken or Yvonne..not sure why you moved to Faith and Relgion ? I could of done that- but do not consider this a religion..just a belief.
A couple of young women opened a Wiccan shop here in town a few years ago, selling spell kits and other weird stuff. They seemed to attract groups of kids but I don't think they bought much and the place was soon out of business. The next person to rent the building hung himself in the window of the shop and apparently hung there for a couple of days before anyone noticed. I mention that only because anytime anyone mentions the Wicca shop here in town, that comes up.
I have a friend in England who came out of the Wiccan society. Apparently, Wicca is a major religion throughout the UK. Maybe @Patsy Faye knows more about it from the UK standpoint.

Not to belittle your thread, @Gloria Mitchell, I didn’t know what it was when I first read it. And I didn’t know Wicca was a religion but I have read a great deal on witchcraft, which seems to be akin and have fancied myself with the ability to cast spells and able to apply them at an appropriate time to some of those individuals whose trails I have crossed. I went so far as to make myself a voodoo doll with some fancy straight pins. Maybe I went about it all wrong but it was fun to speculate.
