Yes, I am referring to the people attempting to enter USA by crossing the Mexican border that, at the moment, are walking (caravan) towards our country.

Why? Not only because the present times are "not for travelling" but -in general- the people who enter the country are not the ones we need.

No, dear...I am only making my opinion heard....and I never knew to express what one thinks is a matter of color.
See, my friend, all waves of immigration should be according to the needs of the country.....USA or any other country. Easy to understand.

I agree. Those crossing the border from Mexico bring nothing with them except trouble and dependency.

It's our immigration laws being openly violated. Everyone who follows the process is welcome.

We have several neighbors who are Hispanic (not sure which country they are from) and they are excellent neighbors, honest, and hard-working people.
I have no problem with them being here.
However, I think that people need to follow our laws and come here legally, and not come across the border in the dead of night. Also, these caravans are known for being used for human trafficking and also for bringing in illegal drugs.
When you look at the pictures, you can see that most of them are young men, and not families, although it is the ones with women and children that we are usually shown, so it looks like families are coming here.

We'll be seeing a steady stream over the next four years.

Everyone who wants to come to the USA, LEGALLY, and become citizens, should be welcome, following a vetting process. Those who came here illegally, initially, but have applied for the proper work visas, and obtained social security numbers and drivers licenses, should be welcome

In my chosen profession, many of our best workers are from south of the border. These guys put to shame the locals I've used. They work harder than any other guys I've used, and they are very skilled at what they do. I only contract those workers who have valid SSN's and work visas. Without them, my business would be in trouble, no two ways about it.

I have always said that we need a robust immigration system, for the very reasons you cite:
-We get people who are hungry for the opportunities offered here
-We get people who help us refresh our own sense of gratitude
-We get fresh competition so that we do not get complacent
-We get people from nations where freedoms are repressed, and who can sound the alarm for repression here

And as you said, it has to be in accordance with our laws.

Unlike yourself? We could have done without you too. I learned when President Kennedy was killed that we all, no matter how special we are (or think we are) anybody, including oneself, can be easily replaced.

    Cheeky, Silvia.

Well, Silvia, I knew sooner or later someone would completely disagree with you. Guess your thread here found that out.

BTW, your answer is a serious aggression to " freedom of speech".........Your answer equals to censorship and this, my friend, is the first tool used by the Socialism to subjugate people
