This shows our newly built ( about 2 years ago ) City area hospital.. Called the royal Adelaide hospital it’s the hospital where my husband is after his accident of slipping on wet concrete in his shed resulting in him breaking his hip and having a hip replacement . More about him breaking his hip here http://www.seniorsonly.club/threads/my-hubby-broke-his-hip.17621/ Adelaide city is a mile square and surrounded by parklands on each of 4 Terraces The back of the hospital has the city rail system then this nice parkland The hospital is on the corner of North Tce and West tce .....the other 2 are called if you hadn’t already guessed are South and East tec
This will give @Shirley Martin a good idea of the correct side of the road to drive in This is Port road , right in the city ....that leads to Port Adelaide about 20 km away Opps photo is I it’s side that’s prob cause I took it with my old phone can @Yvonne Smith or someone please fix photo for me thanks
Looks lovely.. Looks very countryish…Almost like a golf course... I mean the middle picture of course... Weird compared to where I am now in the middle of winter.. Everything is white up here.. Tonight it is going to be …….-32c..
There is a huge golf course in North Adelaide Steve which is about 2 km from where I took that photo That one is just on the corner behind the hospital so it’s I the city area Adelaide has allot of parklands
Nice pictures, @Kate Ellery . Everything is lush and green. Howsomeever, not only do you Aussies drive on the wrong side of the road but you do it sideways!!!!!!!!!!
Looks very clean and summery.. the green grass is really green.. Like Shirley said, I noticed you drive the wrong way...……. LOL !!!
@Kate Ellery. I can not see any moderation action that allows change of pic configuration. Perhaps Ken knows a way.
I don’t know why pictures I take with my phone post sideways ...grrr .. @Ken Anderson has turned sideways photos for me before so I have no idea how he manages his magic to do that @Craig Wilson
He is the forum owner so knows everything. Perhaps there is something there in the mod actions and I just cant see it.
I'm not certain why it does that, but it does it to me once in a while too. When that occurs, it usually occurs with images that have a large width, of 1,000 pixels or more, although I can usually post 1,000 pixel-width photos without that problem. Another thing that seems to be common when photos are displayed sideways is that there is text on the same line as the image. Code: This will give @Shirley Martin a good idea of the correct side of the road to drive in :):D:):D However, when I download the photo, it is indeed sideways, and I can only assume that it wasn't sideways when it was uploaded. In this case, I simply turned the photo the right way and added a line break between the smiley code and the image code. Code: This will give @Shirley Martin a good idea of the correct side of the road to drive in :):D:):D I can always fix it, but I can only guess as to why it occurs. Usually, I can go to the Xenforo (forum software) forum and get an answer. This problem was discussed in the Xenforo forum but no one had an answer to it.
As a test I’m going to copy / save my photo to my iPad then try to post see if that makes a difference Thanks @Shirley Martin for turning photo Thank you @Ken Anderson I’m about to change my old iPhone 7 i took photo with over to,my new iPhone 12 so I wonder I’d that will be better for taking photos TEST PHOTO ... Edit ,...I saved photo but it saved on its side as it shows on here ...so I opened it in a editing program and turned / saved
Nah @Shirley Martin some parts of this world are way back in the dark ages ..ya need to update so you drive where your right arm is in the middle part of the road ..it go’s way back to Roman times driving chariots ..so they carried their swords in the right had to get the enemy as they past one another
