Of course, those coils are innocuous, to me, until employed as a primary circuit in a high-voltage Tesla coil! Tesla himself reading a newspaper amid torrents of high-voltage high-frequency brush discharges.

@Faye Fox Far from finished, though ability more and more exhausted. I want to build another live steam locomotive, try out numerous tesla coil designs, and rebuild a few older cars. The latter work was done during my lifetime crawling about using jackstands. A vehicle lift would now be imperative. I dream, day by day....... Frank
