The method I use is to point to the URL right click and a drop down occurs pick copy go to doc and place pointer where you want to put video and right click for drop down and select paste.
Regardless of how he chooses to copy (or if there's anything copied to the clipboard at all,) the Paste option should always be there. If nothing has been copied, then nothing gets pasted when you click on "Paste." But "Paste" should always appear in the right-click drop-down. This is not a copy problem. I went on the internet to search for others who have reported this problem, and all I could find were problems in specific software applications, not with the system in general. But I'm gonna stay out of it.
The only way I can get the "paste" to not appear is if I'm in an area of the page where I can't "paste." You have to be in an active text box to get the correct drop-down menu. But I'm staying out of it, too.
That's right. But you're getting an entirely different menu, not just "missing paste." This is why customer support gets outsourced. "So where is the Any Key?"
Taken for future use. Here, just take what you think it's worth: Back on topic: have you ever seen any option "disappear" from the right-click menu? I've wanted to remove "Send to Email" because it launches the email client when I accidentally click it, and I never have a need for it. But that requires a registry key modification, and I'm not gonna go there.
I've often wondered if there's a high correlation between those who love Larson and those who love Monty Python. It seems that there are folks who just don't get either of them (the "Marmaduke is my favorite comic" crowd.)
So out of curiosity, did you try using the "CTRL + V" shortcut as a work-around? Just because the menu may have an issue doesn't mean that the function does not exist.
