Exhausted watching this tutorial, but love the results. My next DIY is focused on designing and sewing so it would be like putting on a cap. My thoughts, meditations, or prayers (whatever you prefer) are with all of you battling cancer. I am working on turning my wood and bone pendant projects into pins to adorn my headscarves. I am thinking of ordering some pink and gray scarves to experiment with. I like the criss-cross method because it gives a better forehead look IMO.

Well, I have to agree with her that she is "horrible at this tutorial thing." That is much too complicated for me, plus all those layers of fabric would be hot and heavy. I found tons of Etsy stores selling scarves, pre-tied scarves, and hand-made hats so I'm doing a little shopping.

Yes. way too much fabric and steps. I achieved near the look with just one of my thin ones, but still time-consuming. ESTY is a great place and I agree on the pre-tied being the way to go. I like doing business on Esty and helping the small craftspeople.

Ugh, more waiting for results. I hope you get a good report on Thursday. Glad the test is done, though.

I'm doing fine, thanks. Tomorrow is chemo day. Just got off the phone with my daughter; she lights up my day.

Hey Terry. Please do forgive me but I was off of the forum for about a month and have just recently perused the forum as a whole and what do I find?
One of my fav’s is having difficulties and needs a bunch of support.

Like Beth, you’re a strong lady and I know you’ll weather this through. That said, my prayers are with you always.

OK! Chemo #4 is in the history books. It was a long day; starting with blood work, then an appointment with my oncologist, and finally the chemo treatment. Doc advised me to skip the Covid vaccine for now; apparently they can cause questionable results with certain types of scans. I will be having scans soon to see how the tumor is reacting to treatment and we don't want lymph nodes swollen by the vaccine to muck things up. So I was happy to have an excuse to skip the vaccine. :p

My blood count numbers are taking a hit from chemo, so I will be pretty much "confined to quarters" to avoid any possible infection. (So basically no change in my life. :D) I hope those numbers don't dip too low because that would cause treatment to be delayed until I build back up. I'm ready to get on with this and git 'er dun.

You’re a real champ Beth! I don’t really know ya and I wouldn’t recognize you if I ran into you in a phone booth but I’m really proud of you.
That said, the prayers are still being sent.

You are too kind, sir. No "champ" here; just a frightened old woman. :D Thanks for those prayers; I can use 'em.

Thank you Beth. Test went well. It was the prep that took so long. I'll let you know later today what the results show.
