The paper will say that the 78 year old Bill Taylor has "Gone Missing" Why not just say he is missing. What if he was kidnapped--did he still go missing

Or, another answer to one of Lon’s other threads concerning one’s “passing”, He’s gone. Where? Gone, Gone.
What are they supposed to say? "Bill Taylor, COVID Denier of the last generation to question authority, has been disappeared."
I don't like the expressions "Get a Life!" or "You got a problem with that?" I would like to throw a wet sock full of fresh cat excrement into the faces of those who use those expressions.
