They already arbitrarily confiscate many other forms of personal possessions, including cash money, so why are firearms any different, especially if done via authorized legislation? Constitutional violation? They've already trampled the document! Frank
They don't have to go house-to-house. They have armies of agenda-driven liberals and Democrats who would readily turn in their neighbors and family members, and they could pick gun owners off one-by-one. Keep in mind, also, that if you feel the need to have a gun to protect yourself, once the gun laws are in place, you can be sure that you'll go to prison if you do so or, at the very least, lose your guns and your ability to do so again.
I was just referring to manpower. It would be difficult for the Feds to go door-to-door without local law enforcement cooperation. They could, however, round up folks at gun shows, shooting ranges, etc. fairly easily
