It's horrible, by the way, compared to her previous styles, but I think she did it to honor Ruth Bader-Ginsburg who wore a similar style. She started wearing it just about the time RBG died.
I think she is living out many judge's wet dream...minimal boundaries on her interaction with idiots. And how in the heck did you even notice that she changed her hair??? I take it you are a regular viewer.
I hate these shows that turn our justice system into reality TV (even though those are not really courtrooms.) Judy is particularly obnoxious and narcissistic.
How'd I notice? She got uglier. I like when she rips into those on the dole and those who don't pay child support. I don't like her increased level of stridency when people don't respond to her questions as quickly as she expects. or her cackle. I picture in my mind with a perverted pleasure how I'd react when she becomes overbearing, even tho it'd probably cause me to lose the case. So yeah, I watch a lot of her shows.
So do I , and I’m a Aussie ..it’s on at 3 Pm Mon ~ Fri We kinda like the show it entertains us for 10 mins ....shows 30 mins minus all the adds on TV . sometimes we even get a double episode
JJ has become far more obnoxious, of late. It's not entertaining, it's disgusting. I only see the show because Janet now watches it, daily, along with five other judge shows. I'm in and out of the den, as I go about doing things around the house. Most of her cases have obvious outcomes, right from the start, yet they're dragged out for a full show, as I imagine all of the other court tv shows have reduced the number of folks wanting to be on JJ's show. Boring......... Last I read, she makes over $40M/yr.
I agree that she has become far more obnoxious. I also heard about $40 million. The source below says $50M but the per episode amounts don't seem to support that amt. "Although the salary numbers seem high, Bailiff Byrd earns about $4,000 per episode. In comparison, Judith Sheindlin earns about $180,000 per episode. Judge Judy averages about 10 million viewers every week." Reference: futureofworking.com/judge-judy-bailiff-byrd-salary/ _______ How many episodes per yr.? I guess about 26.
