Perhaps in your eyes, but since it is Navy Enlisted man's ring, not in ours, our family or folks I show it to when I'm wearing it. Absolutely nothing "deception" about it..........nothing! Heck, Lon, I've seen retired-enlisted Army, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard rings that look the same way. Now, do you want to know what a "deception" is? I met an older guy, at a Petco in Jacksonville, Florida, that was wearing a Navy baseball cap with "scrambled eggs" on it, meaning he'd been a higher ranking officer (Commander and up). When I asked him about it, he told me this "the hat I ordered was an enlisted man's Navy baseball cap and they sent me this one. So, I kept it and wear it."
Lon, this is what you wrote, as the OP, of one of your threads: Both Classy And No Class Residents Living In Assisted Living From my merely observing them and not yet knowing them all yet, personally, it appears that women have all the class. I haven't seen any ladies blowing their nose into a table knapkin. Ladies are definitely better groomed and dressed than men. I seldom see any men drinking wine with their meal but do observe some drinking beer. Rent and Care Fees are expensive and the same for everyone so individual net worth has nothing to do with how they present themselves. So, just what do you mean, comparing one thread to another?
Hmm - - - The usual suspects have hijacked this thread. So.......I know my neighbors, on either side of me, and my across the street neighbors. I've done tree jobs for all. They watch my house when I'm away, and vice versa. I've been here thirty-two years. I'll miss them all, should we move.
Only done it because Lon stated he didn't care about how one man looked that I pointed out to him in their dining room. In his one thread, he stated how the ladies are "classy" but some of the men are not. So, was simply wondering which way it was with him. Either the "I don't care" or the "men are different ("un-classy") here".
Please! Yours is Post #47. And it's 7 weeks into the thread. By that point it's not a hijack...it's Lane Drift.
I just went back and looked. The thread was "Hijacked" by the OP (points gun at own head: "Take me to Havana.") It happened on Page 1/Post #9. I would never have labeled Lon as "a usual suspect." Go figger... eta: Upon further review of the officials, Lon's Post #9 is about a neighbor, so I might be wrong on this. But Lon has conflated different threads of "Do You Know Your Neighbors" and "Women Dress For Dinner/Men Are Slobs" and "Pics Of People Here." They kinda all overlap. It's not a bad thing, but it is true.
Well, we have since had a few interactions with the new neighbors, and from what I can tell we will be keeping it minimal. The guy has "horse's ass" written all over him, but fences make good neighbors. See what I did there??
Ok, John........Lon had done two threads, one about how the ladies where he lives dress better/more classy, than the men do for dinner. The other thread, where I pointed out a man whose shirt was open, showing his t-shirt, I made the comment about that "look". Lon stated that he didn't care how the man looked. One thread would challenge the other. At least that's the way I saw it. Either Lon thinks the men are "un-classy" aka "sloppy looking" at dinner or he doesn't care how they look.
