Clouds shelter you from the hot Sun during the day. Here in Hawaii it gets mighty hot during the day and I'm glad that there is some cloud cover when you're out and about during the day. image from http://ayay.co.uk/background/nature/clouds/sun-behind-cloud/.
My daughter and I were out and about running errands yesterday after the rain had passed here in Texas. There was so many beautiful cloud formations but as is often the case I did not have my camera with me to take pictures. For some reason the clouds, sunrises, and sunsets, etc. seem so much more vivid and outstanding for the past few years and I am just drawn to taking pictures of all the beauty I believe God created for His children to enjoy. I thought as I aged these things would become lower in intensity...but instead the colors and sharpness have increased and I cannot help but say: Thanks God...that is just beautiful!
I posted a picture of clouds at sunset here yesterday. It's not here now. Does anyone know what happened to it?
I just might have to go get myself an iphone or something! I envy all the beautiful pictures you guys take. I have a tracfone - don't laugh!!!! I take pictures with it, but the quality is so bad. One of these days .............
@Bonnie Thomas. My husband and I both have tracfones and they have worked just fine for us in making and receiving calls...which is what we want ours for. We are moving one of our phones over to Consumer Cellular because we can get 1500 minutes a month for the same price we are paying tracfone for alot less minutes, etc. There is no contract with CC either and you can change plans or quit their service at any time. They also have text and data plans if you want that too. Some of the cell phones take really great pictures now days but I prefer to use my camera for this and I really don't have the best camera in the world. But somehow I manage to take some decent pictures of the things I am interested in and that works for me.
Oh, I agree Babs, making and receiving calls with my tracfone is no problem at all. ..it's the picture taking that is less than stellar.. I just don't make that many calls and the minutes pile up. I renew it yearly for $99 and they give me a mountain of minutes that I'll never use. I want more time and less minutes. Right now I'm looking at over 4000 minutes on the phone, with a renewal in October. I did have CC for a short time., but it was costing too much for my purposes.
Were you happy with CC's service? We are finding we need more minutes on at least one of our phones since we have so much family in other states, etc. So right now CC offered a better value for this ...and I am keeping my tracfone for now until I see how CC works out.
The service was fine. No problem ...it just cost more .... $20+ a month vs. $8.25 for Tracfone. Most of my calls to family I do on my other phone ... on the computer. My tracfone is more of an emergency phone than anything else... for traveling/power outages - that type of thing.
The clouds were thin this morning before the sunrise, but with the mist over the pond I found an interesting view this morning and captured it the best I could. T
