Johhny liked to spend money when we were dating. I like to watch how it's spent since we've been married so no high priced meals here.
It's been several years since I was in Chang's and while it was okay, hardly "a really nice place", and was maybe average for $$. I do like their food, though.
I remember as a kid parents would take us to the All You Can Eat Kitchen..for a dollar per person ! The atmosphere wasn't anything to write home about with the food was really good. We rarley eat out lolol claims he likes my cooking better. But for us. Um about $35-40 ..usually. Mexican good with beer or margaritas.
When our kids were small (5 of them...), we'd load them into the Ford Mini-Van and head for Chico's Mexican Buffet. It was something like $2.95 for adults, $1.95 for kids 8-12, and under 8 ate for free. After that we'd go to the $1 theater, so we could have a night out for seven of us for about $20. Those were the days. (Late '80s.)
