Michelle was having some symptoms of a heart attack so she is in the hospital for the night, perhaps longer. She's in the ER right now, and the early tests haven't found indications of cardiac problems but, due to the symptoms, she will be staying the night, then it will depend on what they find.
Oh my goodness, Ken. I'm so sorry to hear this and hoping that she will be fine. I'm glad she's at the hospital where she can be cared for. My thoughts are with you both. Let us know how things progress.
She doesn't have a history of heart problems. Although she has had similar symptoms before, they did not turn out to be cardiac. It's a matter of better safe than sorry. I am concerned, of course, but not overly worried. I made her finish the card game before I brought her to the hospital.
I, too, am thinking of you and your wife. Hopefully it is just a case of women being cross-wired and having referred pain from somewhere else.
During a possible cardiac arrest, playing the card game out is in line with the senior rule book so you’re safe. Seriously though, we’re praying that the problem is resolved quickly. It’s a good thing you have some training in that area but that said, prayers for you too Ken.
I am sorry to hear this, and hoping that it turns out not to be anything serious, and not a heart problem at all. On the other hand, if there is a serious problem, the sooner that they find it and can start treating Michelle, the better that would be. Give her love from all of us on the forum and we will be praying for both of you, and hoping that she can come home again right away. Please keep us updated as you are able to do so, @Ken Anderson . I will try to keep everyone here out of mischief while you are busy taking care of your wife.
I wouldn't have insisted but I was ahead, and had the advantage of her being distracted by the chest pains. I couldn't give up that edge.
